Scatolificio Sama was founded in 2006 by Eleonora and Zeffiro, later succeeded in 2025 by their son Davide, who had already been operating in the company for some time anyway.
The corporate choice arose from the idea of joining forces with different and integrable skills, both of which are necessary within the company: on the one hand, the experience gained operationally for generations in the production of boxes, knowing every technical and practical detail, and on the other, economic skills acquired through studies and matured in other production realities, but with a strong passion for both paper and everything that can be created with it.
Nowadays in the Sama Box Mill everything is now automated, from in-house printing both lithographic and hot foil stamping, to cardboard and paper die-cutting, all the way to automatic lines for the complete production of coated boxes. The in-depth knowledge gained in this sector allows us to understand the best product and process performance to best meet the peculiar individual needs of each customer, with careful cost control to optimize selling prices as well.
However, we are strongly convinced that the real added value is our history and experience, the personal relationship we have with our customers and, last but not least, the environmental sensitivity that makes us prefer raw materials from protected or recycled forests, non-toxic paints, glues of animal origin, as well as a protected recycling system even with regard to our waste material all destined for paper mills to be reused. This is precisely why we have chosen to become FSC certified in 2023.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT of projects, prototyping to evaluate if it meets expectations before final production. Thanks to our printing and prototyping capabilities using digital printing and cutting plotters.
LOGISTICS SERVICE with deliveries ensured by our vehicles or dedicated couriers.
STORAGE IN OUR WAREHOUSES if necessary after production, with call-off deliveries throughout the client’s production season.

2006
Sama box factory foundation
Obtain the factory in Fratta Polesine and the entire Eurobox factory including all the existing machinery, and rehiring of all the employees
2007
Purchase of a semi-automatic paper and cardboard laminating machine
With this machine, we can laminate paper and cardboard onto stretched or corrugated cardboard.
2011
Purchase of an automatic die-cutting machine with a foil stamping lever
Ideal for processing small and medium print runs on cardboard sheets measuring 80 x 120 cm
2014
Purchase of a flatbed cylinder machine for hot foil stamping
Used for transferring solid foil onto stretched paper or cardboard
2015
Purchase of a brand-new, fully automated first-line for the production of coated boxes
It’s a line that allows cost savings in production while ensuring high-quality standards for medium and large formats.
2016
Purchase of a two-corner die-cutter for paper
It allows for the removal of internal overlaps in paper folds and eliminates the need to create dedicated dies
2017
Purchase of a Heidelberg lithographic printing machine in a 70 x 100 cm format
We guarantee complete printing capabilities in-house, from 1/2 Pantone colors to full four-color printing.
2018
Purchase of a second, entirely new and fully automated production line for coated box manufacturing
This line allows cost savings in production while ensuring high-quality standards for small formats
2021
Purchase of a fully automatic laminating machine for laminating paper with cardboard
This machine is used for laminating sheets of paper or cardboard with stretched or corrugated cardboard, is fully automatic and highly precise.

Obtaining FSC® certification
FSC® certification ensures responsible management of forests and plantations and safeguards the rights of workers, according to stringent environmental, social, and economic standards.
