Sama Packaging was founded in 2006 through the determination of its current partners, Eleonora and Zeffiro, to join forces in this endeavor. On one hand, they brought with them the operational experience gained over generations in box production, with an in-depth knowledge of every technical detail. On the other hand, they possessed economic expertise acquired through their studies and honed in various contexts. However, their common thread was a deep passion for paper and everything that could be created with it.

Zeffiro, in fact, comes from a family where, since the early 1900s, boxes were produced almost entirely by hand, and then with the first mechanical machines, which are still present in our showroom as a memory of our origins. The business was then passed down to children and grandchildren, eventually reaching our times. In the meantime, Zeffiro’s son, Davide, joined the company after graduating as a mechanical technician and gaining experience in other industrial mechanical production companies. He decided to collaborate in the box factory, returning to where he also grew up. Eleonora comes from an entrepreneurial family on both sides, even before her grandparents, in completely different sectors, but always with a strong inclination towards business, which she always felt. After graduating as an accountant and a specialist in foreign trade, she decided to attend Bocconi University, where she graduated in Business Economics. She immediately entered the world of work, with a brief experience as a trainee accountant and auditor, as well as a consultant for companies that outsourced production to North African countries. She then worked in management control for PWC Italy and later for an IT company, where she managed human resources.

Today, everything at Sama Packaging is fully automated, from internal printing, both lithographic and hot foil, to cardboard and paper die-cutting, all the way to the fully automated line for box covering. Our knowledge of this sector allows us to understand the best product and process performance to better satisfy the unique individual needs of each of our customers.We are convinced that this is the real added value, combined with the excellent personal relationships,, often long-standing, that we have with our customers, and not least, our environmental sensibility, which leads us to prefer raw materials from protected or recycled forests, non-toxic varnishes, glues of animal origin, as well as a recycling system that is also protected when it comes to our waste material, all destined for paper mills for reuse.
